Resolves for the New Year

1. Forget past efforts – don’t prepare yourself for defeat by dwelling on past failings

2. Do something for someone else each month – big or small, just make it personal

3. Do something for yourself each month – don’t feel guilty for taking time for you

4. Be a part of solutions, not problems – enough said

5. Choose to be illogical:

* See illogically - look past the surface for God’s hand in answered prayers

* Love illogically - love the hard to love

* Serve illogically - work your way to the bottom

* Give illogically - practice the principle of reaping & sowing

* Live illogically - death to self is not easy, but it’s the path to life

About Jackie Chesnutt

I am married to an amazingly forgiving and loving wife. We have a super son and a dynamite daughter. They are both married to great mates and have a combined six perfect children! We all live in and love NW Arkansas. God has been so very good in spite of me.

Good thoughts…and for those of us who are right-brained and married to left-brained people, we’re already used to being considered “illogical”…so I got a laugh out of #5…it’s good!
