When Brandon was a kid, he rode a Joy Bus with his uncle Gary. My wife taught him in Bible Hour; he was a sweet and gentle little boy. He was not treated gently growing up. He was abused; who knows in what what ways or for how long? He hardened and chose a path that led him toward the dark side of life.
Two weeks ago, Brandon was convicted of murder. I almost said a ‘horrible’ murder, but to quote Jack Nicholson, “Is there any other kind?”
Last week, Brandon was sentenced to death. He is in the Supermax facility at Grady, AR. Barring appeals, his time may not be long. Brandon is paying the consequences for his actions; but, our God is not limited by concrete and steel. I’ve contacted brethren near Grady to see if someone can visit Brandon for the sake of his soul. I would ask that you please be in prayer for him. Thank you.
I’ll be praying for him, for those who will try to help him, and for the friends and family of his victim. Thanks for sharing this.
I added your prayer request to my prayer blog, too (http://a-disciples-prayer-blog.blogspot.com).
